In 2002, Jason and Alecia Brown began their search for a vineyard from which they could pursue their dreams of making more expressive, medium bodied and elegant wines.

In 2004, they found ‘thier diamond in the rough’. Located near a town called Young in Southern NSW, the vineyard was located in one of Australia’s smallest and little-known wine regions (Hilltops). Seduced by the cool climate, high elevation and gnarly old vines, it was what they needed to craft wines of purity, finesse and vibrancy.
