Abbey Creek Vineyard is the family-owned boutique vineyard of Mike and Mary Dilworth, situated on the northern slopes of the Porongurup Range in the Great Southern wine region of Western Australia. The Porongurup sub-region excels in growing cool-climate grape varieties, resulting in intensely flavoured wines. We produce Riesling, Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon.

Plantagenet’s total 126 hectares of vineyard have been carved out of the region’s distinctive Marri soils named after the massive native Marri, or Red Gum trees that grow here. The soils are ironstone gravelly loams over a base of clay, sand or the ironstone rock. The vineyards sites are selected where drainage is good enabling control over vine vigour, one of the most important determinents of fruit quality.
