On the Main Road between Willunga and McLaren Vale, the Penny’s Hill Cellar Door is located at ‘Ingleburne’ a landmark estate noted for its historic Georgian two-storey farmhouse, stables and out buildings, stone walls and open paddock spaces.
Named Penny’s Hill Vineyard after the hill at the base of which it is sited, the property was planted to vines in 1991 to a unique narrow-row configuration to maximise vineyard productivity and grape and wine quality.

Located at the entrance to the McLaren Vale township, our Tasting Room is housed in what was the original barn of Aldersey Farm. Built in the late 1800’s and lovingly restored in 2003, warm in winter and cool in summer, we are sure that your visit to our Tasting Room will be a welcoming, friendly and memorable part of your McLaren Vale experience.
As well as having the opportunity to sample and purchase our collection of award-winning wines, you will also get to experience our Tasting Room only special releases.

The ‘Workers Cottage’ was built on the Oliver family property ‘Taranga’ in the early 1850’s. During 2006/07 the cottage has been restored by 5th and 6th generation Oliver family members plus many, many helpers. The face of Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards is located on Seaview Road in McLaren Vale, South Australia.
THE CELLAR DOOR IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK, 10AM – 4PM
