Robinson’s Family Vineyard

Robinson’s was established in 1969 when John and Heather first planted grapevines on their Lyra Property. John Robinson made his first wine in 1974 and in 1975 received a Gold Medal for his first commercial release the 1975 Red Blend at the Royal Brisbane Wine Show.

Son Craig has now taken over after having worked in the USA, Europe, Western Australia, South Australia, Victoria and South America.

Hidden Creek Vineyard

Hidden Creek is situated in the beautiful rugged high altitude hills of Queensland’s Granite Belt at over 900 metres above sea level which is unique in Queensland.

Our “Top” block is planted out to mostly Shiraz with a small section of Cabernet Sauvignon. The winery block is planted to Shiraz and the Road block is planted to Tempranillo and Viognier.

Our cellar door features silky-oak panelling and ornate leadlights originating from the old Ipswich Baptist church, and during winter our blazing fireplace will keep you warm.
